During lockdown I made a deal with tattoo artist Mikey Boyd to swap the painting of a flamingo for a tattoo. The lockdown ended. We spent a pleasant three hours carving this into my leg. It’s the only tattoo I’ve got, and will get. It was about 3 times bigger than I expected - but I didn’t want to seem like a dickless wimp in front of Mikey, and now it feels like the perfect size.
